About NFL Legion
NFL Legion is an independent NFL site in English and Spanish. Every week it publishes every game with a statistical model's pick, the line, the keys and the injury report, and follows the score of every game live. It also has a page for each team, the standings, playoff odds, summarized news and a guide to understanding the game.
Where the data comes from
Games, standings, injury reports and market lines come from API-Sports; the history used to calibrate the model comes from nflverse. News items are summarized from what ESPN, NBC Sports, Yahoo Sports and CBS Sports publish, and each one links to its original.
Texts written with artificial intelligence
Game keys, recaps and news summaries are written automatically by an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic) from that data. Before publication, every text goes through automatic checks: it may only use the figures and names found in the source data. If it fails them, a template-based version is published instead, or nothing is published.
The picks
Picks come from a statistical model (Elo) and are published with their full record of hits and misses. They are analysis, not betting advice, and NFL Legion has no relationship with any sportsbook.
Privacy and cookies
NFL Legion does not use cookies or ask for personal data. Like any web server, the one hosting the site logs technical data about each visit (IP address, page and time) for operation and security.
